This is a very short update. Today at lunch we had a quick meeting where we did a little bit of practice in which everyone did well. I felt very confident with my answers and I think the team worked cohesively, showing that we are truly prepared for the competition on Saturday.
Today I also found out that I would be representing our team in the lightning round at the competition. This has already made me incredibly nervous. I know I am an asset to my team, but the fact that the whole team will rely solely on my knowledge for one round seriously concerns me. This is certainly a new challenge for me to undertake, seeing as I am used to the questions being asked in a group setting, and for this part of the competition it will be just me, with no help and nothing to fall back on. Despite my anxiety, I will go into this with confidence and I'm sure I'll know the material and do just fine.
